Looking for a moment of pause?
For those of you looking for a moment of pause to stimulate your creative juices, WRISE San Diego, in conjunction with the San Diego Museum of Art, has organized a virtual performance piece by renowned artist, Judit Hersko, who spent six weeks in Antarctica studying climate change with the National Science Foundation. Her art focuses on the intersection of climate change and women’s empowerment. For our moment of pause, Judit will present a short performance piece followed by a Q&A about her work and career.

Join us for a virtual discussion on the work of Brené Brown!
The value of coming together to bond and connect is becoming more apparent by the day. WRISE San Diego believes it is important to continue offering opportunities for our members to connect during this time of physical social distancing. This will be our second virtual gathering of the year. Our first 2020 Book Club event “Own It: The Power of Women at Work” was a success, and in this event we will dive deeper into leading teams and building networks in uncertain times by discussing Brené Brown’s research.
This is a great opportunity to interact with the WRISE community through thought provoking conversation around personal and professional development.
You can purchase Brené’s latest book “Dare to Lead” free on Audio Book here, watch her Ted Talks “The Power of Vulnerability” and “Listening to Shame” and watch her interview on 60 Minutes, as well as her podcast “Unlocking Us”.
