We encourage all local women working in or aspiring to work in the wind energy industry to join the National network. Here are the Benefits of Membership:
- National Webinars on renewable energy and professional career growth*
- Access to mentoring and discussion groups through the National website
- Networking opportunities with other renewable energy professionals through access to events calendars for all Chapters
- Access to the WRISE online Member Center including member directory and resource library
- Access to official meeting minutes for local WRISE San Diego Chapter Steering Committee meetings
* We encourage you to ask your employer to pay or reimburse your membership fees, as WRISE supports career development and provides networking opportunities.
The WRISE San Diego Chapter Steering Committee supports WRISE members residing in the Greater San Diego/Southern California area by:
- Organizing local social and educational events for WRISE members and other renewable energy professionals in the Southern California area
- Funding professional-level scholarships to attend quality renewable energy events to candidates generally working in or beginning a career in renewable energy
- Continuing maintenance of the S.D. Chapter website for local activity announcements and the opportunity to stay connected
How to Join:
- Fill out the membership form the National WRISE Website: http://wrisenergy.org/membership/join-or-renew-your-wrise-membership/
- Select your membership level of registration
- If you are renewing your membership, simply logon to the Membership Center and select “Renew My Membership” (annual renewal required)
